Systematic Kinesiology

Systematic Kinesiology

Systematic Kinesiology may be understood as a system of holistic/natural health care which combines muscle monitoring with the principles of Chinese medicine to assess energy and body function. A variety of treatments are then used to correct imbalances which may include firm reflex massage, nutritional supplements, dietary advice, stress relief techniques and flower remedies.

Using muscle response as a yardstick, the function of the lymphatic system, the vascular system, the digestive and other physiological functions can be assessed. Muscle testing reveals energetic, structural and bio-chemical imbalances which are then rectified with different techniques such as light massage of reflex points, meridian tracing, lymph massage and various other techniques.

Systematic Kinesiology addresses the whole person mentally, physically, chemically and energetically. All parts of our whole persona are inter-related meaning if we are out of shape mentally, then we are affected chemically, physically and also energetically. It is also therefore that anything that corrects any part of us corrects the whole person. Systematic Kinesiology is truly a client driven therapy as it is reliant on biofeedback from the client to direct the session.

Systematic Kinesiology works in a very non-intrusive manner. You remain fully clothed throughout the whole session (with the exception of your shoes), lying on a massage table. Your arms and legs will be placed in different positions and tested by applying light pressure to them.

Each session last approximately 1 hour.

What are the benefits of Systematic Kinesiology?

Improved energy and health, reduced pain and discomfort, and reduced anxiety are some of the benefits that can be experienced. With its totally holistic approach to natural health that facilitates the natural healing process Systematic Kinesiology helps with symptoms such as:

  • Digestive Problems
  • Food Cravings and Food Sensitivities
  • Migraines and Headaches
  • Back Pain and Sciatica pain
  • Stress, Anxiety, Fears & Phobias
  • Poor Concentration and Coordination
  • Sleep Problems
  • Low Energy & Fatigue
  • Skin Disorders
  • Frequent Flu, Coughs and Colds
  • Mental Fatigue

How Many Sessions will I need?

We are the sum total of all our experiences. If you have been under stress for a long time then it is understandable that one session will not give you the best chance of recovery. Still we have to start somewhere and usually it is expected that a client will need between 3-6 sessions spread over several weeks/months to see significant improvement.
