Moving into Presence – A Mindful Movement Meditation

Sit Walk Dance Repeat – A beautiful meditation practice to nourish our body mind connection in stillness and in movement. We begin seated – on the floor, on a cushion or chair, whichever way you are the most comfortable – for a few minutes of guided or silent sitting meditation before transitioning to the slow meandering movements of walking meditation. We complete the cycle with free movement. 
Rooted in Open Floor meditation practices we will tune into our bodies and explore and strengthen our natural resources to ground, to centre, to pause, to release and many more.
Guided throughout with gentle prompts and musical set list we aim to move throughout the practice, as slow or fast as we feel, taking our cues from the body through sensations, emotions, mental chatter and bring ourselves back to the present moment and into the body, again and again.

Everyone is welcome. No prior meditation or movement experience required. If you are curious about self care practices that are grounded in awareness, mindfulness and authentic conscious movement, this may well be for you.
