Mindful Watercolours & Restorative Yoga

Join us for a morning of mindful watercolours and restorative yoga.

We’ll begin our morning with mindful meandering using water colours. You’ll be guided through simple and intuitive mark making creating gorgeously textured and colourful pages. Our focus is very much on enjoying the process, the mess making, play, curiosity, … and to complete we will turn our own pages into beautiful little chap books to journal or collage in. 

Following a short tea break we continue our morning retreat with a gentle session of restorative yoga. Using as many yoga props as we like – bolsters, pillows, blankets, blocks, eye pillows – we rest in each yoga pose without holding, without effort, allowing ourselves to sink into our supports, be held and simply be. In practicing mindful creativity and restorative yoga we connect with ourselves, find stillness,, relaxation, clarity and true rest.

Good to know:
+ all art materials and restorative props will be provided
+ water and tea will be available during our break
+ dress comfortable for restorative yoga (wide comfy clothing)
please bring an apron / top suitable for our water colour session and your yoga mat. If you favour your own bolster or blanket do feel free to bring them along.
