Benefits

Muscular ~ application of 3 drops of citronella oil to the painful region (mixed with a carrier oil prior to massaging) Digestive ~ soothing and calming for internal inflammation in the digestive tract and stomach Nervous ~ an effective antidepressant, and can help people get rid of gloominess and mental fatigue, a great mood elevator. Skin ~ its antibacterial properties are helpful in reducing skin infections such as acne, warts, boils etc. The antiseptic nature of this oil may prevent wounds and injuries from getting septic. A very good insect repellent.

Safety

Can cause skin problems if one is allergic to the oil. Should be used with caution if pregnant Can increase heart rate when inhaled

I had the Zone Facelift Facial Reflexology with Dee, what an amazing treatment. From start to finish it is utterly relaxing. I booked in with Hilary for a full body massage. I’ve had a lot of massages over the years and Hilary is by far and away the best I’ve been too. It really felt like she was so in tune with what my body needed. I walked out of there feeling so relaxed and free of a lot of the tension I was carrying in my back, in particular. I had a excellent reflexology and massage session with Anna. I was a bit nervous about reflexology as I do not like my feet been touched - wow I almost fell asleep.I highly recommend River Holistic for whatever your body needs you will find it all under this roof.All the staff are friendly and very helpful.Claire the Owner is always willing to give advice on whatever it is that bothering you.Wish I could afford it I would visit every week.Watch this space I will be back real soon.read more

Last week I attended hospital because I could not hear. I had fluid in my inner ears which would take several weeks to improve. LMD is a gentle massage treatment which involved Aideen applying a soft touch to my face and my ears in a gentle manner. I could feel something shifting on that first treatment. The next morning when I woke up, I was amazed to see all around my eyes and nose was physically different. I knew that the congestion had shifted and warranted a second treatment.
