A practical and accessible 2 hour workshop to take care of yourself on a physical, emotional & energetic level. Through asana (poses) and pranayama (breathwork), precise alignment cues, meditation & yoga nidra, slow down, pay attention & transform your practice into the ultimate act of self care.

This class is open to everyone but is ideal for those who are feeling overworked, burnt out or depleted and in need of a little recalibration.

About Valerie

Valerie’s approach to yoga is pragmatic & always adapted to real life. Her teaching draws on the tapestry of yoga styles and lineages she has studied to engage with and serve the individual. She will hold space for you to move, breathe & explore. Her aim is make you feel at home in your body. 

Practicing for over 12 years and teaching for 6, Valerie strives to live the teachings of yoga in every aspect of her life. She stumbled across yoga in college and has found herself exploring this pathway ever since. While working as a lawyer she completed her first hatha yoga teacher training (RYT 200) in 2012. She continued her studies and went on to complete teacher trainings in yin yoga (30 hours), core strength vinyasa yoga (100 hours), pre-natal yoga while pregnant with her son (85 hours) and Katonah yoga (30 hours) as well as countless personal practice hours, classes and workshops. Her yoga journey has led her to study with renowned yoga & bodywork educators including Liz Koch, Josh Summers, Tiffany Cruickshank, Sadie Nardini, Jason Crandell and most recently Abbie Galvin & Alex Sharry of The Studio NYC. Valerie ultimately left the legal world behind to concentrate her efforts fully on teaching. She specialises in teaching workshops and private yoga tuition.
