Patch Yoga ~ Kids Yoga


What to expect from Patch Yoga classes:
At Patch Yoga, children are taught yoga in a safe, encouraging and supportive environment.
They are free to express themselves through movement, breath & their very own
Yoga positively impacts children’s physical and mental health. It enhances children’s body
awareness, develops and strengthens flexibility, boosts confidence and self-esteem & helps
children regulate their emotions through breathing and relaxation techniques.
Every class will have a theme – this can be anything from a jungle adventure, a trip to the
moon or a day at the beach! All class themes will be centred around the children’s interests
to encourage engagement, fun and growth!

Class structure:
We will start every class with ‘circle time’, allowing the children to settle in.
The children’s energy will lead the class. We will do some breathing activities to slow down,
regulate and get ready for our fun warm-up games… before the yoga adventure begins!
Both Asana (yoga poses) and story time are woven together to create a magical adventure.
Each child will be encouraged to use their imagination and positively supported during their
yoga poses.
Classes will come to an end, with a guided visual meditation, where children can relax and
drift off into their savasana (resting pose).
On the last week of term, children will be awarded a certificate for completing their 4 x
week Patch Yoga Adventure!

What to bring:
 Each child will need to bring their own yoga mat.

Term details:
 4 x week term. Running Mondays @3pm-3:50 pm
*Please ensure to arrive on time for collection.

€50 for a full 4 x week term.
