Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is a yoga practice different from a regular flow class and most other styles of yoga. There are specific sets of exercises within the practice that work on moving and harnessing the energy within the body. To do this we use a combination of physical exercises (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), mudra (hand postures), Meditation, chanting and relaxation to bring about a total balance in the body and mind.

The specific set of exercises work on strengthening the nervous system, balancing the glandular system, purifying the body and calming the mind. Also within the practice are built-in moments of stillness where we sit quietly and awaken to our Self.  When we apply the technology of Kundalini Yoga to our bodies and minds it has the effect of uplifting us.

It builds physical vitality and brings about an overall feeling of well being. The dynamics of Kundalini Yoga is what make it so enjoyable and fun but it will also add depth to an existing practice and to your life.

These classes are beneficial for beginners with no previous yoga experience and those with an already existing practice.
