Yoga with Aoife Moore is an enriching practice of ‘acceptance of self’ through Hatha yoga


In a world obsessed with the physical aspects of yoga – trying to get that pose – we can miss out on what the essence of yoga really has to offer us. In our society we pay more attention to the things we can see and measure. We give little attention to the things we can’t see and measure, the invisible, the breath, the mind, stillness. Both are equally important within yoga and within life. 


During the class, I invite students to increase awareness in their body and breath while bringing them through mindful asana movements, progressing naturally to pranayama (yoga breathing techniques) and ending with a centering meditation. During the term we will learn to respect our natural physical limitations, develop acceptance, quieten the mind, and invite stillness in.
