Who is Shalki?
Hello beautiful souls, my journey with yoga began at an early age, both spiritually and physically. As I navigated the twists and turns of growing up, I found myself entangled in distractions that pulled me away from my center. However, as the saying goes, there’s always a hook that leads you back to yourself. For me that hook was Yoga. Seven years ago, I stepped into a yoga class with the intention of contributing to a good cause. Little did I know that this single class would become a transformative milestone, shaping the course of my life. Since that day, the practice of yoga has become my unwavering companion. It’s not just a physical activity; it’s a soulful connection that I have embraced wholeheartedly, and I find myself forever grateful for that one serendipitous class. My practice has led me to today.
I teach & practice Ashtanga and Vinyasa style yoga. All my Vinyasa classes are very suitable for absolute beginners to intermediate levels. My approach prioritizes offering multiple options for navigating each pose within the flow, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and challenged at their own pace. The essence of my teaching lies in the art of listening to our own bodies, encouraging self-awareness and fostering a practice that honors individual needs.
