Coping with Loss

A gentle yet informative 3 hour workshop on Coping with Loss.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve but there are healthy ways to deal with the grieving process.  Grief is a natural response to loss but often the pain of loss can feel overwhelming with unexpected emotions from shock to anger to disbelief, guilt and profound sadness.

Having an understanding of what to expect can help you face your loss and move through it in a positive healthy way:

In this workshop you will learn:

  • The Stages of Grief
  • How Grief affects our Mind, Body, Emotions and Spirit
  • How to deal with Loneliness
  • Coping skills and techniques for healing
  • How to take care of ourselves while grieving and supporting others in their grief.
  • Re-building ourselves and our life.

This workshop will help anyone who is currently grieving or who may be supporting a loved one with their loss.

About the Facilitator:

Gwen Browne

Has experienced her own tragic losses, losing her mum at age 11 and husband 8 years ago both to cancer. 

This led her to study how loss affects us physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Her journey started with studying neuroscience and learning ways of coping with the trauma of her loss.  She has done extensive studies in Mindfulness therapy and techniques for healing your life and managing loss in a healthy way.

She has worked as a group facilitator for a large bereavement charity.  She has been interviewed for Rte Radio and TV documentaries on the subject of loss and bereavement. 

Gwen now shares her knowledge and wisdom with a view to offering others hope and helping them on their journey through workshops and one to one therapy..
