Mindful Yoga

 

Mindful Yoga is a 60 minute class which is suitable for beginners and mixed levels.

Mindful Yoga is a combination of meditation, gentle hatha flow and yin yoga.

We will start with a guided mediation to connect with your breathing and then depending on the energy on the day ; we will be gently moving to a gentle hatha flow or we will mindfully practice a yin yoga sequence. Allowing the body to mindfully transition between releasing poses to benefit the mind and body. We will finish off with a calming relaxation and meditation.

Gentle Hatha Yoga Flow is a slow placed type of yoga where we focus on the breathing as we transition gently through one pose to another. Letting your breath be your guide as it takes you to where you are at, in this moment.

Yin yoga is a very slow paced style of yoga where we hold the poses for 2-5 mins and let the body surrender without forcing and pulling. Yin Yoga is very effective at healing the body as it brings gentle pressure on the muscles and allows them to be slowly stretched. This helps to create a more balanced feeling, physically and energetically in the body.

Allow yourself to be soft, surrender and heal.
