Hatha Yoga with Aoife

 

Yoga means Union and this reminds us that body, mind and soul, all 3, are connected and each one cannot function without the other.
Aoife’s classes will focus on traditional hatha yoga bringing together body, mind and soul.
Classes will begin with asanas (mindful movement with poses – increasing the awareness of our bodies). Followed by a natural progression to pranayama (breathing exercises) and always ending with a beautiful centering meditation which enhances mental clarity.
We live in a physical dominated world. These enriching classes will encourage you to see that a healthy breath and a healthy mind is equally important as a healthy physically body.
Aoife will inspire you to not get too caught up in the shape of the pose. Accepting our body in all it’s glory and loveliness, with its strengths and limitations. Knowing that Yoga is not what you see… yoga is what you feel.
Integrating yoga into your life can:

Increase respiratory efficiency

Classes will run from Wednesday 23rd May – Wednesday 13th June.
4 week term – €40 (class is 1 hour and 15 min)
